Trenton Moses Garners Another National Award

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO. - Trenton Moses has racked up yet another national honor. The National College Baseball Writer's Association named him the Pro-Line Athletic Co-National Hitter of the Week.
Moses, who was the Adidas Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season, smashed seven hits in nine at-bats during three games last week. He has a double, four home runs and drove in 11 runs, guiding the Redhawks to a 2-1 week. Moses also walked three times, as he reached base in 10-of-12 plate appearances.
The College Baseball Newspaper named the 6-3 junior from Advance, Mo., the Louisville Slugger National Hitter of the Week, the first national Player of the Week award in Southeast history.
For the season, Moses leads the Redhawks with a .376 batting average (47-for-125), eight home runs and 39 RBI. He has scored 26 runs, laced ten doubles, one triple and has an on base percentage of .460. The slick-fielding third baseman has committed just one error in 161 chances in the field.
