Paige Luehmann Named OVC Defensive Player of the Week
BRENTWOOD, Tenn. –
Freshman defender Paige Luehmann
from the Southeast Missouri soccer team was named the adidas® Ohio Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday.
Luehmann played 183 of a possible 184 minutes in Southeast's two victories. The Granite City, Ill., native helped the Redhawks hold their opponents to only one goal for the weekend. She also added two assists, both on game-winning goals as Southeast won 1-0 in overtime against Eastern Kentucky and 2-1 over Morehead State.
This is the first time Luehmann has won the weekly award in her career. The award marks the second Redhawk to be named OVC Defensive Player of the Week. Hayley Abbott

The Redhawks return to the pitch on Friday when they travel to Belmont.
