Stone Helps Lead Sports Reach Exhibition Team to Gold in Brazil

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Southeast Missouri forward Tyler Stone finished with seven points, 10 rebounds and six assists to help lead his Sports Reach exhibition team to a 98-49 victory over Catholic University at the 5th Annual International Terra de Sole Basketball Cup in Fortaleza, Brazil, Monday. Stone's team earned gold medals with the win.

Stone and Campbellsville University's Jordan Myers (11) each posted double-digit rebounds. A day earlier, Stone had a triple-double 25 points, 14 rebounds and 10 blocks in a 114-54 win. A native of Memphis, Tenn., Stone is currently averaging 17.6 points and 10 rebounds three games into his trip so far.

"We are only in our first city of the tour and every morning I wake up it seems like I'm dreaming," said Stone. "This is an experience of a lifetime."
