Track and Field Competes at Arkansas Final Qualifier

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Southeast Missouri track and field programs sent a group of athletes to the Arkansas Final Qualifier on Friday afternoon in Fayetteville, Ark. home of the 2013 NCAA Division I Indoor Championships.
 
Senior Craig Robinson, the Ohio Valley Conference Champion in the weight throw won the event with a toss of 61'-4.75”.
 
Sophomore Kevin Farley, the OVC Champion in the shot put earned a second place finish in the event with a toss of 58'11.25, a career-best.
 
In the women's pole vault senior Jill Schnurbusch finished seventh in the event with a height of 12'-10.75”.
 
In the 200m dash senior Jerika Lewis finished seventh in the event with a time of 24.53 an indoor career-best as it fell just short of the school record of 24.44.
