Winning Streak
The Redhawks carry a two-game winning streak to Martin, Tenn. Southeast won at Jacksonville State, 69-52, on Jan. 14 and beat Tennessee Tech, 65-61, at home on Jan. 17 for its first winning streak in Ohio Valley Conference play this season. A win Saturday would give the Redhawks their longest winning streak this year.

Road Update
Southeast has won two-straight games on the road. Both of those victories are the Redhawks largest in Ohio Valley Conference play this season. Southeast won at Tennessee State, 77-62, on Jan. 3 and, 69-52, at Jacksonville State on Jan. 14. Southeast won four of its last five OVC road games. A win Saturday would give Dickey Nutt his longest OVC road winning streak in his career as the Redhawks head coach.

Series History
The Redhawks lead their all-time series against UT Martin by a count of 45-27. Southeast is 7-3 versus the Skyhawks under head coach Dickey Nutt. The Redhawks won five of the last six meetings between these teams and own a three-game winning streak at the Elam Center. Antonius Cleveland banked in a halfcourt shot at the buzzer to give Southeast a thrilling 77-74 win the last time the Redhawks played in Martin on Feb. 22, 2014.

OVC East Division
Southeast closed out the East Division portion of its Ohio Valley Conference schedule with a 65-61 win over Tennessee Tech (Jan. 17). The Redhawks finished with a .500 (3-3) record against that side of the conference this year.

Chasing 1,000
Jarekious Bradley and Nino Johnson are both chasing 1,000 career points. Bradley (876) needs 124 more to hit that mark, while Johnson (866) is 134 points away. So far, Dickey Nutt has had two 1,000-point scorers as Southeast's head coach. Tyler Stone (2011-14) ranks fifth all-time in school history with 1,546 points and Marland Smith (2009-13) ranks seventh with 1,423.
Defense Rises
On a night where Southeast didn't shoot particularly well from the field and at the free throw line, the defense locked down a 65-61 win over Tennessee Tech (Jan. 17). Jarekious Bradley scored a game-high 18 points and had two huge blocks in the final minute to secure the Redhawks second win in a row. TTU missed its last 10 field goals of the game against Southeast's disruptive defense which forced 13 turnovers, collected eight steals and gathered six blocks.

Free Throw Streak Ends
Jarekious Bradley's career-long free throw streak ended at 30-consecutive makes on Jan. 17. Bradley missed his first free throw attempt with 3:23 left in the first half against Tennessee Tech. It was his first miss since the 6:30 mark of the Southern Illinois game (Dec. 10). Bradley's free throw streak stands as the longest in the Ohio Valley Conference this season.
