Baseball Announces Upcoming Schedule Changes

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – The Southeast Missouri baseball team has announced a number of changes to the upcoming schedule including the Ohio Valley Conference opener against Eastern Kentucky.
 
Winter weather has once again forced Southeast to move a home series to a neutral location. The Redhawks and Colonels will face off in Edwardsville, Illinois on the campus of SIUE. SIUE's field is all artificial turf. Game one of the series will be played Saturday at 11 a.m., game two will played at 2 p.m. Sunday, and the finale will be played Monday beginning at 1 p.m.
 
The Second Annual First Pitch Dinner will still be held Saturday at the Isle Casino Event Center. Doors open at 6 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6:30 and the program will begin at approximately 7:30. Al Hrabosky will be the featured speaker. 
 
Makeup games at Saint Louis University and Arkansas State have also been set.
 
Southeast Missouri and Saint Louis will play Tuesday, March 10. The game is slated to be played at Billiken Sports Complex at 3 p.m. Should the field be unplayable due to weather, the game will be moved to GCS Ballpark in Sauget, Illinois and will start at 5 p.m.
 
Southeast's game at Arkansas State has been rescheduled for March 25. First pitch from Jonesboro, Arkansas is scheduled for 4 p.m.
