Southeast Missouri volleyball (4-23, 3-10 OVC) lost 3-1 (21-25, 25-20, 28-26, 25-17) Friday night vs. SIUE (18-6, 11-2 OVC) Friday night at the Sam M. Vadalabene Center.
Falling behind 5-0 early in the opening game, Southeast battled back to eventually overtake SIUE 14-13 thanks to a seven-point run. The Redhawks would go on to capture the opening set 25-21 to take a 1-0 match lead. Marie Less

The Cougars responded to tie contest with a 25-20 second set win leading into a back-and-forth game third frame. After 15 ties and eight lead changes, SIUE earned a match advantage with a 28-26 vicotry.
The Cougars would go on to earn the 3-1 win after winning the fourth frame, 25-17.
notched 15 kills to tie the match-leader alongside of a team best .256 hitting clip. Krissa Gearring and Less both also tallied double-digit kills, earning 12 and 11 respectively.
