Scouting the Crusaders (4-2)
All-Time Series History: Valpo, 4-3 (Last Meeting: 2012, SEMO W3-1)

Valpo looks to host this weekend with continued success against the OVC, recently knocking off Austin Peay at the Troy's Trojan Invitational. Their match against SEMO will be the Crusaders first home contest of the season. Valpo's offensive leaders are Emily Campbell and Katherine Carlson who have 72 and 70 kills on the year, respectively.

Scouting the Dukes (6-2)
All-Time Series: First Meeting

Duquesne enters the weekend riding a five-game winning streak. The Dukes hosted Coppin State, Saint Francis U, Bucknell and Buffalo last weekend, earning 3-0 sweeps in all four contests. Their two loses this season come off of sweeps from Redhawks regional rival Southern Illinois and Popcorn Classic participant Central Michigan. The Dukes are lead by Maddie Bazelak, who has tallied 99 kills on the season (3.67 per set).

Scouting the Chippewas (2-4)
All-Time Series: SEMO, 1-0

CMU recently traveled to East Lansing, Mich. where they were swept by Michigan State and #7 Florida before knocking off Morgan State, 3-1. Southern Illinois and IUPUI handed the Chippewas their other losses earlier in the season. Jordan Bueter currently leads the CMU this season in kills (49), service aces (9) and digs (59).

Last Time Out
Southeast took on the Purple Aces of Evansville on Monday, falling in five sets. After falling in the opening frame, UE took the next two to take advantage in the match. The Redhawks responded by forcing a decisive fifth set but were unable to complete the comback as the Purple Aces won the game 15-9 to claim the 3-2 match victory.

Krissa Gearring led the Redhawks offensively with 23 kills while adding on 10 digs. Madeline Grimm set a new personal best in kills with 22 while Nzingha Clarke also tallied 17. Katarina Rotta accumulated 59 assists while Jade Mortimer led defensively with 16 digs.

National Numbers
Gearring currently ranks fourth in the NCAA in overall kills (132) while ranking 11th in kills per set (4.82).

Mortimer ranks 27th in the NCAA in total digs with 132.  She is currently averaging 4.71 per set, ranking fourth in the OVC. Mortimer also ranks 54th overall in service aces with 11.

The Redhawks began last weekend falling to Northwestern State in four sets at the UAB/Samford Challenge. Later in the same day, tournament host UAB defeated Southeast in three sets to end the first day of competition. On the final evening of matches, the Redhawks fell to Radford.
