Southeast leads the all-time series against Austin Peay by a count of 52-36. Southeast lost the last matchup, 7-11, on Apr. 2, 2017 at Capaha Field. The Redhawks posted a total of 15 series victories against the Governors. Southeast won four of the last five meetings between these teams.
Due to the Easter holiday, Southeast and Austin Peay will play a three-game series beginning Thursday at 6 p.m., CT. Game two will start Friday at 6 p.m. with the series finale scheduled for Saturday at 1 p.m.

150 and Counting
has started 150 consecutive games at Southeast. Ezell goes into the week with 100 at-bats and 23 RBI this season. He has a total of 617 at-bats, 203 hits and 101 RBI in his career. Ezell is etching his name in the record books with high career numbers his junior season this year. At Arkansas State (Feb. 20), he tied the game with a two-out, two-RBI double in the top of the ninth inning. Ezell then tied the Redhawks series finale against Bowling Green (Feb. 25) with a one-out, two-RBI triple in the bottom of the eighth, a game which Southeast came back to win, 9-7. Most recently, Ezell hit a two-out, two-RBI single to grab the Redhawks a 2-1 advantage in the top of the eighth inning at Memphis (Feb. 27).
Breaking into the Top 10
has cracked the school's all-time career list in runs scored. Ezell now has 162 runs and ranks seventh. Jeremy Johnson (1997-2000) currently holds the record with 214. With another year still available, the record does not seem far away for Ezell.
Ranked in the OVC
Southeast is ranked second in fielding percentage (.974) behind Tennessee Tech (.976). The Redhawks also have only allowed 15 home runs this season which rank third fewest in the conference. Southeast is tied for second in fielding double-plays (21) with Eastern Kentucky.

both reached double figures in fielding double plays. Gagan has fielded 19 double plays this season and leads the team. Basler comes in second with 13 double plays.
has 191 putouts this season. Gagan leads the team, while Wade Stauss
is second with 117 in his first season with the Redhawks. Gagan has a career total of 652 putouts on 701 chances. His career fielding percentage is .993. He has committed only five errors in his career.
Along with Chase Urhahn
's nine-game hitting streak, Peyton Faulkner
has a streak of 16 games where he has reached base safely. This leads the Redhawks and is his longest streak of the season. Ezell and Urhahn have also reached safely in 12-straight games. Connor Basler
has reached base safely in eight consecutive contests. His streak started Mar. 14 at Central Arkansas.
Vega's Triple Start
is predicted to start in Saturday's series finale against Austin Peay. This will be his third consecutive game three start after pitching in Southeast's wins at UT Martin (Mar. 18) and vs. SIU Edwardsville (Mar. 25).
Vega Tops OVC
leads the conference with a 2.03 ERA and is tied for first with eight games finished. Vega has allowed the fewest hits (22), runs (9) and earned runs (6) in the OVC this season. He has also gone all of his appearances without giving up a home run.
Vick Logs First Career Start
Newcomer Christian Vick
made his first career start on the mound against South Dakota State (Mar. 4). Vick, after allowing four runs in the first inning, settled down to retire 14 of the final 17 hitters he faced. He ended up with a no-decision, recording six strikeouts and issuing one walk in five frames. Vick was the sixth different pitcher to make a minimum of one start through the first 16 games this year. He is currently Southeast's game one starter on weekends.
Among Career Leaders
can be found on multiple career lists. Ezell currently has 162 runs scored and is sitting in seventh place. Jeremy Johnson (2009-2012) leads with 214 runs scored. He also has 10 career triples which has him tied for fifth with Andy Lennington
(2012-2015) and Jeff Steffens (1987-1990). Vern Hatton leads with 13 triples from 2001-2002. He also is sitting at sixth overall with 110 walks in his career. Trevor Ezell
has 43 stolen bases which puts him at seventh. Denver Stuckney (2000-2003) leads with 52 stolen bases.
Strong OVC Start
The Redhawks are 7-2 in Ohio Valley Conference play this year. Southeast opened OVC competition with a 2-1 series win over Morehead State (Mar. 9-10) in Cape Girardeau. Southeast claimed its 17th series victory all-time during the opening weekend of league action. It was the 16th time the Redhawks posted a series win against the Eagles since the teams first starting playing in 1992. The Redhawks continued with a series victory at UT Martin (Mar. 16-18). Southeast recorded a season-high 17-1 win with 20 hits and 15 RBI in game two of that set. The Redhawks then swept SIU Edwardsville (Mar. 23-25).
Southeast will host Arkansas State Tuesday (Apr. 3) before the Hall of Fame weekend against Eastern Illinois (Apr.6-8). The game against Arkansas State will give a first look at the team in its green jerseys for National Donate Life Month.
