150 and Counting
Trevor Ezell has started 150 consecutive games at Southeast. Ezell goes into the week with 100 at-bats and 23 RBI this season.  He has a total of 617 at-bats, 203 hits and 101 RBI in his career. Ezell is etching his name in the record books with high career numbers his junior season this year. At Arkansas State (Feb. 20), he tied the game with a two-out, two-RBI double in the top of the ninth inning. Ezell then tied the Redhawks series finale against Bowling Green (Feb. 25) with a one-out, two-RBI triple in the bottom of the eighth, a game which Southeast came back to win, 9-7. Most recently, Ezell hit a two-out, two-RBI single to grab the Redhawks a 2-1 advantage in the top of the eighth inning at Memphis (Feb. 27).
Breaking into the Top 10
Trevor Ezell has cracked the school's all-time career list in runs scored. Ezell now has 162 runs and ranks seventh. Jeremy Johnson (1997-2000) currently holds the record with 214. With another year still available, the record does not seem far away for Ezell.
Ranked in the OVC
Southeast is ranked second in fielding percentage (.974) behind Tennessee Tech (.976). The Redhawks also have only allowed 15 home runs this season which rank third fewest in the conference. Southeast is tied for second in fielding double-plays (21) with Eastern Kentucky.

Individually: Chase Urhahn (10) ranks third in doubles; Tristen Gagan (9) is tied for fourth in doubles; Peyton Faulkner (6) is tied for third in the OVC in hit by pitch; Connor Basler (4) is tied for first in the conference in sacrifice bunts with EKU's Chris Botsoe; and Christian Vick is tied for second with four wins and tied for first with only five walks allowed.

Home Run Count
Southeast has 21 home runs and ranks fifth in the Ohio Valley Conference in that category this season. The Redhawks hit a home run in 14 of their games in 2018. Justin Dirden leads the team with six.
Double-Digit Double Plays
Tristen Gagan and Connor Basler both reached double figures in fielding double plays. Gagan has fielded 19 double plays this season and leads the team. Basler comes in second with 13 double plays.
Nearing 200
Tristen Gagan has 191 putouts this season. Gagan leads the team, while Wade Stauss is second with 117 in his first season with the Redhawks. Gagan has a career total of 652 putouts on 701 chances. His career fielding percentage is .993. He has committed only five errors in his career.

Along with Chase Urhahn's nine-game hitting streak, Peyton Faulkner has a streak of 16 games where he has reached base safely. This leads the Redhawks and is his longest streak of the season. Ezell and Urhahn have also reached safely in 12-straight games.  Connor Basler has reached base safely in eight consecutive contests. His streak started Mar. 14 at Central Arkansas.
Vega's Triple Start
Carlos Vega is predicted to start in Saturday's series finale against Austin Peay. This will be his third consecutive game three start after pitching in Southeast's wins at UT Martin (Mar. 18) and vs. SIU Edwardsville (Mar. 25).

Vega Tops OVC
Carlos Vega leads the conference with a 2.03 ERA and is tied for first with eight games finished. Vega has allowed the fewest hits (22), runs (9) and earned runs (6) in the OVC this season. He has also gone all of his appearances without giving up a home run.

Vick Logs First Career Start
Newcomer Christian Vick made his first career start on the mound against South Dakota State (Mar. 4). Vick, after allowing four runs in the first inning, settled down to retire 14 of the final 17 hitters he faced. He ended up with a no-decision, recording six strikeouts and issuing one walk in five frames. Vick was the sixth different pitcher to make a minimum of one start through the first 16 games this year. He is currently Southeast's game one starter on weekends.
